WORLD BETWEEN WORLDS LEGAUE - NARRATIVE CH.1
Lt. Phelix was crouching down behind the barrier with Sgt. Basher. Heaps of blaster fire coming at them from all sides. The droids were closing the gap between them, and the last squad of clone troopers left on the planet Rodia.
“Basher, we don’t have much time left. We must destroy this device. It’s our only way to stop these droids and save our skins, “said Lt. Phelix.
Sgt. Basher looked above the barrier. Around them was so much swamp land. The dark green almost black water surrounding them and the Separatist building.
Wearily, Sgt. Basher said, “Sir, the droids are about 50 meters away. General Kenobi said we must return this device back in one piece.”
“I know what he said!” Lt. Phelix took his helmet off to look at his brother with his own eyes. “We aren’t going to make it out of here Basher. The only way we can do right by the Republic is to destroy this device. Backup is too far off and will not make it here in time. We must destroy this and take out the clankers with it. “
“Aye sir. Understood, “said Sgt. Basher.
The two gathered their charges and set them on the device to blow in 15 seconds. With their final bit of strength, they sat the device down behind the barrier and ran hastily in the opposite direction of the droids. Luring the droids closer to the device was the plan, and it was working.
“Sir, what does that device even do?” asked Sgt. Basher.
“Nothing good I assume if the Separatists were this protective over it!” said Lt. Phelix.
With his last words to his brother, Lt. Phelix was shot in the leg by a blaster shot. As Phelix tumbled to the ground, Basher stopped to aid his brother in need. Suddenly, a burning, green light flashed before their eyes.
The charges ruptured with a force greater than that of a seismic charge. The droids that were on top of the device vanished, and an eerie green glow came from this spherical shape the size of a thermal detonator. At an accelerated rate the sphere grew in size and covered the whole planet. Enveloping everything on the planet in a piercing green bright light.
Suddenly Basher looks around and notices that the droids are to the left of them instead of behind. The 4 moons that orbited Rodia are gone.
South of their position, where the droids were coming at them were now clones soldiers that looked like they were in clone armor, but they were bulkier and thicker.
The direction Phelix and Basher were running now displayed a group of soldiers dressed in a woodland camouflage. Led by a Jedi with a blue lightsaber it seemed, and they were firing at the odd-looking clones.
“Sir, what is going on? What happened? Where are we?” questioned Basher.
“I don’t know Sergeant, but we need to get help fast! Go get help from one of the others that’s close by. I’ll wait by here. It looks like we’re still on Rodia, but we need to get a bearing on what is happening. This does not look like our backup.”
GAME 1 - BATTLE FOR RODIA
GAME TYPE - SKIRMISH
500 POINTS | USE SKIRMISH BATTLE CARDS
SPECIAL OBJECTIVE:
Red player places 2 special objective tokens in the center of the battlefield within speed-1 of each other. To claim one of the special objective tokens a trooper unit leader must be in base contact with the objective and use the CLAIM action as designated by the CLAIM ACTION rule on pg. 39. Only 1 trooper unit leader can carry 1 special objective token at a time. So the same trooper unit leader that claimed one special objective token cannot pick up another. At the end of the game, whoever controls a secret objective gains 1VP. If at least 1 special objective token is within the player’s deployment zone at the end of the game, gain 2VPs.
WORLD BETWEEN WORLDS LEGAUE - NARRATIVE CH.2
Lt. Phelix watched as his brother, Basher, was carried away by the off-looking clones. Suddenly the world around Phelix began to pass by quickly. Feeling weightless as he was lifted into the air by a fellow soldier, Phelix looked up behind him and noticed that this clone was harnessed into an LAAT and being airlifted upwards into the bay area.
Phelix then suddenly noticed the voices around him as he lay there motionless. The colors around him going fuzzy. The voices mentioning “Another Imperial spy” and “Hope is all we need now” is all Phelix heard before blackness surrounded him.
Basher awoke with no armor on. It looked to be a gray and black uniform of sorts. Looking around it was dark, musty, and cold. The bed, if that is what you would call it, was metal and solid. The room was maybe large enough for Basher to lay down in with a few inches to spare in ether direction. Very cramped, metallic, and cold. Basher heard noises and yelling. It seems he was in a prison of sorts in a holding cell. Unsure of his location he started to look around outside the cell door.
“Hey! Is anyone there? Hello?!” yelled Basher.
Suddenly three soldiers started to walk towards his cell. Two in white clone looking armor, and another in a similar outfit as Basher but with more decorative blue and red squares on the left-chest area. Suddenly the three figures stood in front of the cell door. The person in the middle in the uniform was hard to make out his shadowed face.
A familiar voice came from the shadowy figure.
“Hello Basher. Looks like you took a tumble down the wrong rabbit hole.”
Basher recognized the voice, but it couldn’t be.
“Gonk is that you?” asked Basher.
Gonk replied, “Soon Basher you will find out more about what is going on here. For now, all we need to know is where Phelix is and his rebel friends. With your help we can get you back home and back to where you belong.”
“Back where I belong? What is he talking about?” thought Basher.
Phelix came to in what looked to be a medical facility. It was hard to tell where exactly he was, but he felt better. Was out of his armor, but it was laid neatly on the table beside him.
“Ah, great you are awake!” the nurse stated. “We were wondering if you would wake up or not. The others from your world are having a hard time waking up lately.”
Phelix looked at the nurse with a questioning face.
“What do you mean ‘others from your world’? What does that mean? What others?”
The nurse looked at him with a smile and stated, “All in good time Lieutenant. I believe a familiar face may help you keep your mind at ease.”
At that moment the door to across the white-lit room slid open. A very familiar brown hair, clean shaven, and young-looking Skywalker came in to see Phelix. Phelix jumped right out of the bed and saluted him.
“General Skywalker! It is a pleasure to see you in person sir!” said Phelix.
“Lieutenant Phelix, happy to see you in one piece, “said Anakin. “We have a lot to talk about and not a lot of time. First thing is first, we need to find Basher. I understand he was transported here with you, correct?”
“Yes sir, he was. What do you mean transported though sir? Last thing I recall was my unit was to bring back the device for General Kenobi. We were surrounded, but then I decided to destroy that device rather than let the Separatists take it back. Then we blew it up with our charges and next thing you know I’m being airlifted by some random people and seeing odd clones walking about. There was a big bang of green light though after we destroyed the device sir.” Phelix began to question that moment.
Anakin looked at Phelix with a dignified look of anguish.
“Phelix. That device was something the Separatists were working on to allow them to jump across space faster than light speed. It could transport you from one quadrant to the next in a blink of an eye. However, what you and Basher did triggered it into something much worse than we feared. From what we gathered; we are in a different universe with similar worlds. However, Separatists do not exist, and the Galactic Empire is in charge around here. We need to figure out how that device was triggered exactly and try to reverse what it did so we can all go back home.”
Phelix looked at Anakin with an uneasiness about him.
“Sir, we destroyed that device though did we not?” asked Phelix.
Anakin looked at Phelix with dismay, “Sadly Lieutenant, you did not. It still exists. We need to find it before anyone else does.”

WORLD BETWEEN WORLDS LEGAUE - NARRATIVE CH.3

Phelix lowered his head in defeat at the news Skywalker has given him. He pondered a moment and returned his demeanor to that a of a soldier, then lifted his head back to general Skywalker.
“Then we have our mission then, sir” Phelix proclaimed.
“Yes, we do. How soon can you be ready Lt. Phelix?” Skywalker asked.
Phelix reflects on his brothers back home, and Basher who was missing under his watch, before standing up straight, “As soon as possible General”.
Anakin smirks at the ambition, “Good, we have intel on the device…Sergeant?”
Sgt. Zara steps forward and activates a holographic map, “We were able to follow a unique energy signature to a certain point, it appears the device was active until this point. It stopped recently so we may still be able to catch who has it currently. We don’t know if they are hostile either.”
Phelix starts placing his armor back on, “Then it’s time to go”.
———————————————————
The air felt different than Phelix was used to as it hit him from the flight of the LAAT. He wasn’t sure if he was imagining that or just paying attention now that he was aware this wasn’t his galaxy.
The party landed just out of reach of the last known location of the device to avoid any conflict. There would be no reinforcements here every troop counted and stealth was key.
The clones made it to the last known location, only to find it abandoned. Signs of a camp that was recently moved existed within the thick forest of the planet.
“Spread out and search for clues on their movement,” yelled General Skywalker, “Remember, do not engage unless necessary before reporting back.”
Phelix spotted footprints that went to the north and followed them without hesitation before alerting his squad. It leads him deep into the thicket until he found a body of a human dressed in camouflage britches and shirt and a very worn blaster next to him. The man is laying on his stomach on the forest ground. Phelix turns the man over and notices a glimmer on the man’s neck. He carefully removes a three pronged dart and looks at it with interest.
Suddenly, he feels the restraint of wires and is flying through the trees. He attempts to grab his blaster but can’t. He looks up at what is pulling him and sees the fire of a jetpack cloaking the armor of a mandalorian.
“If I get out of this, I’m going to be reprimanded for a cycle”
The mandalorian finds a clearing and drops Phelix to the ground. Phelix grunts as he hits the ground with a roll. He isn’t even able to get up before the mando lands in front of him, put his steel foot on his chest and points his snub blaster at him. The green and red visor stares blankly at Basher.
“Foolish of you to run off by yourself” Boba Fett states, “But convenient”.
“What do you want?” Asks Phelix.
“I’ve been following rebels, and these rebels suddenly have the support of clones. They ran off before I arrived except for one. I want to know where they went and you are going to tell me”
“I don’t know anything and I wouldn’t tell you anyway” yelled Phelix.
“A lot of confidence, but you’ll bring me to Solo regardless” replied Fett.
“Solo?” Asked Phelix curiously.

“Don’t play dumb.” snapped the Mandalorian. He smacked his rifle into Phelix’s helmet so hard his visor cracked. “Tell me where Solo is and I’ll let you go back to your…” The Mandalorian trailed off as his head cocked to the side. With a small whoosh the Mandalorians jetpack activated and catapulted him from view. Everything spun. Phelix watched as the trees swirled into a vortex of blinding light.
Sounds came from the nearby brush. Phelix dragged himself against a tree and fumbled with the cord still taught across his chest. The noises got closer and closer. Anakin emerged from the greenery.
“Phelix are you okay?” he asked as he rushed over. In a flash, he activated his lightsaber and sliced Phelix free of his bond. “Yes sir.” Phelix answered. “I’m a little… disoriented but, there’s a Mandalorian, somewhere in-”
Anakin cut him off “There’s no time for that. Sergeant Zara picked up the device’s energy signature again and it’s getting stronger. We have to find it and deactivate it. We think we have until sundown before it goes beyond the planet. Right now, this thing might be contained. I can’t let… We can’t let it get out.” “Sir yes sir” Phelix responded with more enthusiasm than he felt. Looking around, it didn’t look too far off from sunset already.
--------------------------------------------
Anakin led Phelix out of the forest and up a small hill. Ahead of them lie the ruins of one of Rodia’s domed cities. Anakin and Phelix slid down the hill and advanced into the dome. Anakin’s tracking device beeped as they approached their target but they didn’t need it, they just followed the blasterfire.
Chaos reigned in the city center. Lasers shot in every direction. Two rebels: a fierce woman who reminded Phelix of Senator Amidala and a scruffy looking human were pinned down by a gang of Pykes. Strange looking clones shot at the Pykes from a distance while a golden protocol droid ram around in circles trying to dodge everything. Anakin ignited his lightsaber, ready to leap into the fray but Phelix stopped him and pointed. “Over there”
On the ground next to a fallen Pyke the device glowed, basked in the light of the setting sun. Anakin reached out and used the force to lift it across the battlefield. It flew straight to his outstretched hand and sailed past it.
It landed in the hand of a dark figure behind them. Clad in all black and breathing through a respirator, his presence alone made Phelix want to run as far away as he could. The dark figure ignited his red lightsaber. “Tell me, Anakin” he said like the word Anakin was a curse “where is Padme?
GAME 4 - … Ticking Time Bomb
GAME TYPE - STANDARD (Mar 31st - APR 13th)
800 POINTS
SPECIAL OBJECTIVE:
Time limit will be enforced at 150 minutes. Time starts AFTER you and your opponent have the table setup with a mat and terrain and each player has their models out and ready to go. From here, time starts then you can start to do any other setup you need and battle cards. When time is up, finish the current round and calculate score at the end of the round.
2. Reinforcement Points (RP) -> Each player starts the game with 5 TOTAL RPs
Reinforcement Points (RP) are a limited resource that players can use to bring in additional units of a specific rank during the game.
To bring in a unit using RP, the player must first declare the unit and its rank, and then spend the corresponding amount of RP. The unit must be of a rank that the player has already included in their army list, and the RP cost varies depending on the rank of the unit:
Corps: 2 RP
Special Forces: 3 RP
Support: 4 RP
Heavy: 5 RP
Once the player has spent the necessary RP, they can immediately deploy the unit onto the battlefield in a legal, friendly deployment zone. The unit must be deployed within range-1 of a friendly unit or commander. So, you must have a friendly unit or commander near a friendly deployment zone to deploy the reinforcement unit. This type of deployment does not trigger keywords such as infiltrate or scout that would specifically mention a unit may make any action after deployment.
Once the unit is deployed, roll a white defense die. On a block or surge place 1 and only 1 order token faceup on that unit. Otherwise on a blank result, place all order tokens for that unit facedown. It cannot be activated the round it is brought in for reinforcements.
Players can use RP at any point during the game on their turn, but they must have the necessary RP to do so. Once the RP is spent, it it does not replenish round to round. It is considered spent as a resource. For example, Round 2 player A spends their last 2 RP to bring in a Corps unit. They cannot gain anymore RP for the duration of the game.
These reinforcement units still count towards Kill Points (KP) and can still claim objectives if their unit type supports claiming objectives. In short these are extra units you can add as reserves to your standard 800 point list, but do not count towards your 800 point max, and they can exceed the rank's max limit for list building. So if you have 6 corps units in your list you can bring up to 2 additional corps units for reinforcements. Another example, if you have no units under the heavy category in your normal list, you cannot bring a heavy as a reinforcement since you do not have a unit already in that rank a part of your list.
This rule adds an element of surprise and flexibility to the game, allowing players to bring in units that they didn't include in their army list or to reinforce their existing units. However, players must be careful not to spend all their RP too quickly or they may find themselves without the ability to bring in additional units later in the game.
WORLD BETWEEN WORLDS LEGAUE - NARRATIVE CONCLUSION
Anakin felt that sudden tension in his stomach like when you’re going downwards on a steep hill at a high rate of speed. Suddenly, Sgt. Zara came from out the back behind the bushes. Lunging towards the talk, dark figure with her blasters firing in rapid succession. The red saber ignited from the dark figure without hesitation, as if it were…expecting her. Zara flipped mid air with only her air slightly singed by the glowing red-hot weapon. She fell to the ground and rolled towards her comrades.
“Well, that was one way to get my hair done” Sgt. Zara said while catching her breath. “Now then, Anakin I think you were after this.”
Zara tossed the device to Anakin. The dark figure looked down and noticed the device had fallen when he reached for his saber and dropped it. Zara must have picked him up while he was distracted.
“Impressive.” The figure started with its voice sounding almost robotic. “Most impressive.”
Anakin did not hesitate to push the button on the device. Suddenly the device let out a large sonic boom and knocked everyone to the ground. The dark figure tried to stand its ground but fell backwards letting out a loud “ARRRGGGGHHHH”. The device lay between Phelix, Zara, Anakin, and the dark figure. Phelix looked around and noticed the green light from before. That burning sensation from its bright, almost blinding green light.
Then Phelix saw white all around him and then green. Right in the same place he just was, but this place seemed familiar. Looking around Zara, Anakin, and the dark figure were gone. No more blasting in the background. No bombs or destruction around him. Just silence. Phelix began to wonder if it worked. Looking down at his wrist he pulled up his location on the map. It popped up like a floating map with the area around him and a red dot showing his current location. There was another dot not too far away either.
“BASHER?!” Phelix hastily said as he took off running in the direction.
Basher had been missing since this whole escapade began. Phelix didn’t know what happened and they didn’t have the time to find him before all this happened. Hoping everything was okay and back to the way it was, he didn’t have time to think about what-ifs anymore. Anakin seemed to know exactly what was going on, but why wasn’t he here? He shrugged it off as he kept running towards the other dot from the map.
Coming up to the tree near where they started, he saw Sgt. Basher. Lying against the tree, one leg propped up and the other extended. Throwing rocks at some small Gizkas, frog-like creatures with a horned head, walk on two legs, no arms, and a short tail.
Phelix stopped just in front of Basher and asked, “Basher I can’t believe it’s you! What happened to you? Where were you?”
Basher looked up and took his helmet off slowly. He looked up at Lt. Phelix and said with an impish tone, “Sorry sir. I escaped the detention block but don’t remember much after that. Suddenly I was here. I’ve been waiting for hours for you.”
Phelix looked puzzled at Basher.
“Hours? I just got here. “Phelix said with concern in his voice. “Have you been able to make contact with anyone for help?”
“Yes sir,” Basher said in a mischievous way. “They’re only a few hundred meters down the dirt road here. We can hook up with them and get back to base.”
Phelix still not sure if it was the bomb that brought them back here making Basher’s head feel a little too big or what it was. Either way he could not wait to report back on what had happened. Surely General Skywalker would already be telling everyone about it.
I wonder where he is though? Thought Phelix. Since he was in the same spot as they were when Anakin triggered the bomb, they should have been in the same location right?
Oh well, he thought.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As they rallied up with their team at the designated pick up zone, Lt. Phelix saw General Skywalker in the distance running up to him.
“Lt. Phelix, it’s wonderful to see you again! I’m glad you made it back alright” Skywalker said. “We were worried about you for a minute. When we lost contact, we weren’t sure what had happened. Your signals just disappeared!”
“But Sir,” Lt. Phelix said hesitantly “You were with us. You knew what happened.”
Anakin just looked at Phelix with a perplexed look. Unsure of what he was talking about.
“Phelix I’m not sure what you’re talking about. Though I’m glad to have you and Basher back. We need to head to Genosis next. We have intel there is some technology underneath the planet we need to investigate.” Anakin said.
“Aye sir. “Phelix said and saluted General Skywalker.
Phelix looked around and saw Basher with his back slightly turned away from everyone about 20 meters away from the area. Phelix walked up to him and thought he heard the words ‘For the empire’ come from his helmet before he blurted “Sergeant!”
Basher spun around instantly and stood at attention.
“Sir, yes sir!”
Phelix looked at Basher and motioned him towards the LAAT.
“Load up Sergeant. Who were you talking to? “Phelix asked.
“No one sir. Just doing a commo check. Making sure nothing was damaged. “Basher said subtly.
As the LAAT took off Phelix looked around. The sky was getting dark and ominous. The air felt thick with the smell of smoke. The sounds of blaster fire and explosions were still echoing in his ears. As he looked around, he noticed much of the planet seemed different than when they landed. The original location of the factory in the beginning was decimated and just rubble. The trees looked a different color than before. The luscious, green planet was no longer green, but slightly brown. Maybe it was from the fire and smoke surrounding the plant life.
Phelix looked at Basher and Anakin who were both looking defeated, yet ready to start the next fight. Basher looked and sounded different though. What was he talking about before ‘for the empire?’ and doing a comms check away from everyone? Something seemed off. Phelix had a chill run down his spine as he realized that maybe they had not returned to the correct world. He shook his head and just chuckled to himself. Setting his eyes to the large distance set between him and the planet of Rodia as the ship gained altitude taking them away from this treacherous planet. The Rebels and the Republic were victorious in this matter in setting the universe right again. There was no need to worry.
Basher looked at Anakin and Phelix with a sly grin behind his helmet.
‘For the empire’ he whispered under his breath.
